I saw my mom come in and I was happy to see her. I wasn't really looking forward to the swim but my mom and dad said I have to go.
The teacher called me to go swim freestyle and I walked over to the line. About 5 minutes later I was getting ready to dive in the pool. Suddenly we all dived in the pool and I was swimming as hard as I could. I touched the wall at the end and I knew I had to do another lap, so I quickly turned and started swimming. I reached the end and touched the wall, I came last I think. My mom left because she had to go work.
I jumped out of the pool and sat down again. I asked Koka Ngaire if I could eat and she said I could only eat a little bit. I took 4 bites of my sandwich and closed my lunchbox. The year 6 boys in backstroke were swimming really fast and hard whilst I was sitting and spectating.
Koka Ngaire was calling the breaststroke people and I was excited to swim again. I never got called out and Koka Ngaire told to go to Stefan. I told Stefan that I signed up for breaststroke but I didn't get called out. He said I can go in line 5.
